Objectives:

The Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Center is to follow-up drugs after marketing, and the work of an ongoing assessment of the quality of pharmaceuticals, and the detection of side effects, and evaluate and develop solutions that lead to prevent it, and receive communications on this matter, as well as follow-up news from international bodies and organizations and take appropriate decisions about the safety of pharmaceuticals traded.

Functions:

1. Follow-up after marketed drugs, Follow-up to the quality of pharmaceuticals and reports forwarded to the relevant departments, and Follow-up news from international bodies and organizations.

2. Detection of side effects, and evaluate and develop solutions that lead to prevent or reduce their occurrence.

3. Receive communications relating to the safety and quality of medicines.

4. Create a database means approaching relevant for use to communicate with them when needed.
